Loop Horse v2.1 - Windows Win98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003
(FileSize: 1.3 mb) [Freeware] ScreenShot

Loop Horse is a media manager specifically designed for organising and bulk copying files. Files can be ‘auditioned’ and then cued up for copying in one go. The files can be copied from multiple locations on your hard drive, external media or in zip/rar archives. Files can be cued up and copied from any destination as long as they are present on your system. (Files on removable media must be in the drive.) The tool is useful for music producers who use loops and samples in their compositions. Ever find yourself copying a whole bunch of samples from a sample CD or magazine cover-mount to your drive, that you hardly ever use? Ever copied a folder of 100 bass drums, just in case? Save valuable hard disc space and search time by auditioning the files and only copying the ones that sound viable. You can also check the recording quality, bit rate etc. Maybe you just want to make up a new compilation for you portable MP3 player! Loop Horse will calculate the overall size of the files waiting to be copied. The software includes basic WAV loop editing & BPM calculation. Files without BPM information can be renamed with the additional info. Files can be accurately cropped and exported to create a perfect loop. All editing is non destructive and will not change the source file unless required. Users of FLStudio will be able to access samples in ‘zipped’ project files. Files can be cued up for copying from multiple archives. The software comes with the freeware version of ‘unRAR’. Most archives in the rar format can be accessed from within Loop Horse.

File Inventory 1.0 - Windows 98/NT/Me/2000/XP
(FileSize: 883 kb) [Freeware] ScreenShot

What is it?
This simple application enables you to print out/save a list of the files from any drive, folder or Zip archive on your system. Although a similar function can be achieved from the DOS prompt, this software gives you control over the editing, formatting and appearance of the list.

Why would I need it?
If you have large libraries of music, samples, karaoke files, images or plug-ins maybe, you may want to print off an index or create a catalogue for reference purposes. Using the filter options, files can be divided and listed alphabetically or appear by file type. Headings can be added in the editor window and formatting options are available by right clicking. You can also automatically generate HTML lists.

Restoration 2.5.14 - Windows 95/98/NT/Me/2000/XP
(FileSize: 164 kb) [Freeware] ScreenShot

Restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin or deleted while holding down the Shift key by mistake.
Conversely, this program has another function that makes it almost impossible to restore all deleted files.
You can use it after deletion of confidential documents, embarrassing files and so on.

You don't have to install it, so it doesn't leave any garbage in the PC.
(You can also run it from a floppy disk.)
Even if a file seems to be restored, there is no guarantee that the contents are correct.
After you run the program, please check the files.
You can probably restore it correctly if the drive has enough free space and if it's just after deletion.
If you restore a folder, there is no guarantee that all files or
folders which used to belong to the folder will be in it.
If you can't find them in it, please search and restore them one by one.
If you still can't find them, it's impossible to restore them.
It will be almost impossible to restore any deleted files if you run the complete deletion function.
To be exact, fragments of deleted files can be in last clusters of existing files or allocated and unwritten files.
(Note that this function is not suitable for TOP SECRET information.)
Even if you find the information of completely deleted files, their contents must be erased.
If you want to erase the information too, please run the function again.

When you use the restoration function, I don't think you will encounter any damage due to bugs, since the function doesn't write anything to physical sectors.
However, the complete deletion function replaces physical sectors.
Therefore, I confirmed that it worked without any problems by testing many times.
As there is a rare possibility of damage or loss, please run the function at your own risk.

Escape Clause
I'm not responsible for any damage or loss caused by the use of this software in any case.
In addition, even if this software is defective, I'm not under obligation to correct or support it.

[Supported Platform]
IBM-PC/AT Compatible PC

Supported Devices

However, you can change the disk after boot.)
PD (A user reported that it worked correctly.)
DVD-RAM (A user reported that it worked correctly.)

BGInfo 4.07 - Windows 95/98/NT4/Me/2000/XP/2003
(FileSize: 240 kb) [Freeware] ScreenShot

BGInfo automatically generates desktop backgrounds that include important information about the system including IP addresses, computer name, network adapters, and more.

How many times have you walked up to a system in your office and needed to click through several diagnostic windows to remind yourself of important aspects of its configuration, such as its name, IP address, or operating system version?

If you manage multiple computers you probably need BGInfo. It automatically displays relevant information about a Windows computer on the desktop's background, such as the computer name, IP address, service pack version, and more.

You can edit any field as well as the font and background colors, and can place it in your startup folder so that it runs every boot, or even configure it to display as the background for the logon screen.

Because BGInfo simply writes a new desktop bitmap and exits you don't have to worry about it consuming system resources or interfering with other applications.

BgInfo works on 95 and higher, and Windows NT 4.0 and higher.

By placing BGInfo in your Startup folder you can ensure that the system information being displayed is up to date each time you boot. Once you've settled on the information to be displayed use the command line option /timer:0 to update the display without showing the dialog box.

You can also use the Windows Scheduler to run BGInfo on a regular basis to ensure long-running systems are kept up to date.

If you create a BGInfo configuration file (using the File|Save Settings menu item) you can automatically import and use those settings on other systems by adding the /I or /iq command line option.

Cascade DTP is a new kind of web page composition tool that harnesses the powerful features of cascading style sheet (CSS) layout and formatting commands.

Until recently, web designers were forced to use HTML tables as a means of controlling the position of page elements. But since the launch of IE5, Netscape 6 and later browsers, over 95% of web users can now view pages written using CSS.

Unfortunately, most of the major web editing packages still incorporate CSS tools as an add-on, which causes confusion and discourages a break with the compromises of the past.

Cascade DTP is different. Nearly all its functions are based entirely on the CSS layout model. The result is far cleaner code and much enhanced control over positioning and typography. This typically means pages download quicker because it is no longer necessary to convert text to images in order to give headings and logos the desired look.
